Wash Drama is proudly based out of George Washington High School in San Francisco, California.
The Wash Drama program is a full 4 year curriculum that focuses on creating well-rounded & passionate theatre artists, collaborators, & creators. Students are encouraged to take drama for all 4 years at GWHS -- many who wait, wish they had started their freshman year!
We produce TWO mainstage productions every year.
In our 2026-2027 season, we will be producing a show in the fall ("DEADLINE") and spring (Title TBA).
We also are able to produce ONE student directed or written show every year.
Our student show slot is still available at this time for 2026-2027. If you are interested in writing or directing your own show this season, please contact Ms. Rydell to get more information about submitting a proposal!
All GWHS students are welcome to audition for our shows or join Drama Production Club, even if they have not yet taken a drama class.
We have many opportunities to highlight our talented student directors, writers, and designers.
